This class is an opportunity to deepen the practices you learned in the 8 -‐ Week MBSR class and explore new ways to incorporate mindfulness meditation and related practices into your life. Each class will be 2 hours and will include formal meditation practices, group discussion, yoga and inquiry.
We will explore in greater depth how to work with afflictive emotions, physical pain, and mindful communication. Special emphasis will be put on lovingkindess and compassion practices.
It will be a wonderful chance to gather weekly with former “classmates” and meet those from other classes. You will be expected to commit to 45 minutes a day of practice between sessions and most of this will be without recorded guidance.
The goal of this class is to infuse new enthusiasm and energy into your meditation practice and to creatively bring mindfulness into all areas of your life.
